La Noria: CFE Award for 300 MW Wind and 90 MW Battery Storage
On July 22, 2026, Oak Creek Energía de México (GP Renewables de Mexico, S. de R.L. de C.V.) announced an award from Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE) for La Noria: a 300 MW wind project with a 90 MW battery energy storage system in Mexico.
The project combines wind generation and energy storage to support grid reliability, flexibility and clean energy supply.
